Job Description

Salary: $61490

DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Meet customer expectations by assuring supplier quality management/development of quality systems and resolution of nonconformances

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Assist with developing and implementing essential quality systems to ensure goals and objectives are met while focusing on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrating good business judgment

Work closely with Product Management Engineering Distribution Centers (DCs) Product Quality Engineers and our China Quality Consultants to improve efficiencies in quality processes including design

Ensure the execution of company quality goals process and/or business improvement efforts for quality including auditing/assessing supplier qualification process validation new product launch surveillance and control continuous improvement Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) verification audits warranty parts return analysis and assessing/approving Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to meet Prides and the FDAs quality system requirements

Serve as the enterprisewide assigned Quality Champion to facilitate focus and drive continual quality improvement (CI Teams)

Update management as to Process/Product and Supplier compliance to requirements through weekly/monthly performance ratings and report findings to management

Work with Purchasing and Engineering to approve acceptable suppliers and/or recommend elimination of poorquality performing suppliers

Develop diagnose and implement quality programs including tracking analyzing reporting and problemsolving using recognized tools such as DMAIC PPAP COPQ FMEA 8D etc.

Acquire and analyze data using appropriate quantitative statistical methods to facilitate process analysis and improvements

Act as a liaison with internal/external customers to measure and improve performance and reduce returns and customer complaints through effective corrective and preventative actions

Work closely with internal/external customers to improve product quality and process controls while assisting them to identify permanent corrective actions to all nonconformities that occur in process or warranty

Continue to work with internal/external customers to improve inprocess yields supporting them with their internal suppliers and quality improvements

Closely monitor all new product launches ensuring all quality disciplines/procedures are in place while meeting corporate quality objectives and promoting corporate wide quality culture

Provide daily weekly and monthly quality summary reports as necessary

Review Returned Product Evaluations

Conduct Device Audits

Conduct annual audits of internal/external facilities and suppliers

Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training

Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have the ability to:

Plan develop and execute tactical and strategic quality initiatives

Carry out duties with the utmost integrity

Travel up to 10% of the time internationally as business needs dictate

Lift/push/pull 40lbs.

Must have:

Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Excellent presentation verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership development and coaching skills

Strong organizational skills to schedule tasks and develop realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability

Basic statistic process root cause and failure analysis skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

Basic working knowledge of Six Sigma concepts preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

No experience required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year of experience in international manufacturing preferred

At least 1 year of experience in quality management systems including ISO13485 or equivalent preferred

Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification preferred

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
