The Code Enforcement Manager protects the citys residents and business community by managing administering and enforcing the City Codes and Ordinances. This role performs managerlevel work assisting in the management planning organizing and directing of the operation programs and direct supervision of the Code Enforcement Division activities and operations. Generally this position uses complex job knowledge and advanced skills to solve problems. The Code Enforcement Manager works under minimal supervision and has considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Our Type:Our next Code Enforcement Manager understands tactful and courteous communication with members of the public. We are looking for a candidate that can work independently and in a team with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment is critical for success in the role as are high levels of accuracy timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service for a variety of coworkers supervisors and the public with professionalism and patience.
The ideal candidate is hardworking patient and detail oriented. You listen to your superiors and coworkers. You are diligent and able to multitask so your work gets completed in an organized fashion. You follow through and are accountable for all actions. Being at work on time is a priority along with following all safety protocols. When an emergency arises you are not easily flustered but are willing to work hard to help in any way designated by your leadership team. At the end of the day you get great satisfaction from successfully helping our citizens. If you can do those things and meet the following requirements we would be happy to speak with you:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field AND four (4) years of Code Enforcement experience. OR
- High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED) AND eight (8) years of Code Enforcement Experience.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience in an administrative capacity.
- TDLR Registered Code Enforcement Officer (CEO)
- Code Enforcement Officer II Certification from CEAT or the ability to acquire within one (1) year of hire date.
- Valid Texas Class C Drivers License

Compensation: ExemptFLSA status salary range is $62709.38 $94064.08 (DOE).
