Job Description
Overview
A wellestablished financial services firm with a strong presence in Malta is exploring the creation of a new Senior RPA & Automation Developer role. This is a great opportunity to help build and lead automation initiatives that will directly impact operational efficiency and innovation.
The Role
Youll be responsible for designing developing and implementing endtoend automation solutions using Blue Prism. Familiarity with other platforms such as UiPath Power Automate or similar will be considered an asset. The role involves working crossfunctionally with key business areas (finance compliance operations) and playing a pivotal part in the companys digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of RPA solutions from design to deployment.
- Identify and evaluate automation opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain robust secure and scalable RPA workflows.
- Ensure solutions comply with financial services regulations and data protection standards.
- Mentor junior automation developers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Document technical specifications process flows and system architecture.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3 years of RPA/automation experience including time in a senior or lead capacity.
- Experience with Blue Prism is required; familiarity with other platforms such as UiPath Power Automate or similar will also be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with OCR AI/ML technologies or lowcode platforms such as Power Apps.
- RPA platform certifications (especially in Blue Prism).
- Experience with API integrations and database scripting (SQL).
