We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Finance Business Partner likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 43983.0055692.00/Annum
Summary:
The Finance Business Partner provides strategic financial support and guidance to service departments acting as a key advisor to senior leaders. This role involves working independently to deliver financial planning analysis forecasting and reporting services with a focus on enabling evidencebased decisionmaking and ensuring financial sustainability. The post holder will act as a critical link between finance and operational teams offering challenge and insight that drives efficiency innovation and value for money across the Councils services.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead financial contact for designated service areas delivering expert advice and support.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of service operations and priorities.
- Support the full annual financial cycle including budgeting forecasting monitoring and yearend closure.
- Provide financial input to business cases funding applications and procurement exercises.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis option appraisals and costings to support decisionmaking.
Qualifications:
- A CCAB or CIMA accountancy qualification or partqualified and actively studying or qualified by significant relevant experience.
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
