About This Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist at CAE holds a strategic position in the full recruitment cycle focusing particularly on the Finance and Information Technology departments. This role is fundamental in ensuring that selected candidates not only possess the required skills but also share the companys values. The Talent Acquisition Specialist stays abreast of the latest trends and best practices in recruitment contributing to the continuous optimization of recruitment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a recruitment portfolio of 20 to 30 positions at all times.
- Establish a rigorous process to provide an exceptional experience for candidates and managers.
- Collaborate closely with managers to ensure an efficient recruitment cycle minimizing time and cost of hire.
- Advise and influence managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop innovative strategies to attract top talent that meets the current and future needs of the organization.
- Innovate in recruitment practices by leveraging research skills and professional networks to find the best talents.
- Promote a culture of continuous recruitment among all stakeholders.
- Employer branding: Highlight the companys advantages and culture to attract top talent and be a great ambassador for CAE.
- Participate in various projects related to talent acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Industrial Relations or a related field.
- Over 7 years of relevant recruitment experience with particular expertise in recruiting for various positions especially in Finance and Information Technology.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment files simultaneously throughout the year.
- Resultsoriented sense of urgency ability to work under pressure while meeting high expectations.
- Agility and versatility to quickly adapt to changing needs.
- Speed and efficiency in executing recruitment tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to guide and influence managers in talent acquisition.
- Ability to exercise judgment and political acumen.
- Bilingualism required excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite LinkedIn and other recruitment tools (Workday) with great ease in using social media as a recruitment source.
