The Division of TriValley Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a boardeligible or boardcertified neurologist to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.
The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care teaching administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Responsibilities are expected to include care of general and subspecialty neurology patients and teaching of medical students residents and clinical fellows. Faculty will work in our hospital and clinics at Stanford Health Care TriValley (SHCTriValley) in Pleasanton California. While the primary focus will be on clinical duties at SHCTriValley opportunities for involvement at other clinical locations including Emeryville and Palo Alto can be explored depending on the candidates interests and clinical needs at these sites. Opportunities are also available to participate in research quality improvement and development of innovative care programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant should have an MD or equivalent be boardcertified or boardeligible (ABPN) and must have or obtain a California medical license.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have fellowship training or additional background in Comprehensive Neurology Headache and Memory Disorders. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching students residents and fellows. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with other departments and disciplines.

This pay range reflects base pay which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicines faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
