We are seeking a customerobsessed Principal User Experience Designer to define articulate and champion the future vision for DevOps agents and experiences within our AWS Agentic AI organization.
In this role you will excel at investigating understanding and designing experiences that solve complex customer problems through innovative solutions. Your passion is translating abstract concepts into solid design deliverables such as complex workflows wireframes user interface designs interaction models and prototypes.
The ideal candidate approaches challenges with clarity and empathy inspires others and is driven to solve problems at a massive scale. As a handson creative leader you will establish a vision and strategy always putting the needs of our customers first.
In this crossfunctional role you will collaborate with product teams engineering teams and executive leadership to identify and execute on opportunities. You will distill customer insights into actions that benefit the organization serving as the voice of the customer with senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities
Delivering complex design solutions where the product strategy may not be fully defined
Analyzing customer problems and data to design delightful solutions at scale
Leading strategic alignment across teams using expertise in UX disciplines and processes
Creating usercentered designs through research analysis and close collaboration with product and business partners
Quickly generating user flows wireframes mockups and prototypes to conceptualize new initiatives
Clearly communicating design work to leadership an across different audiences
Mentoring other designers and raising the bar for design quality
Applying systemslevel design thinking to drive scalable solutions

Have an available online portfolio
Experience with best practices for User Interface Design Information Architecture and Interaction Design
Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch Photoshop Illustrator Axure Keynote and InVision
Experience designing for enterprise software or developer tools
Experience with AI/ML products or complex technical domains

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $244000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
