Job Description

Childrens Aid Society is seeking a diligent and compassionate Lead Family Advocate to oversee our Family Advocate team while managing a caseload of role provides leadership supervision and direct service to ensure the provision of highquality case management advocacy and support services to families. The ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with a strong background in social services excellent communication skills and a deep commitment to family wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct case management services to a caseload of families including needs assessment service planning resource coordination and advocacy.
  • Supervise mentor and support a team of family advocates to ensure effective and consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor caseloads documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance with agency policies and funding requirements.
  • Conduct regular team meetings training and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and community partners to connect families with housing employment healthcare childcare and other critical resources.
  • Respond to crises and provide ongoing support to families facing complex challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with confidentiality laws and organizational standards.
  • Assist in program development and evaluation identifying areas for improvement and innovation.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work Human Services Psychology or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Minimum 35 years of case management experience preferably working with families in crisis or underserved communities.
  • At least 12 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources public assistance programs and traumainformed care practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
