Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with animal exams surgeries and other medical procedures.
- Administer medications vaccines and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work urinalysis and radiography.
- Educate clients on animal care nutrition and disease prevention.
- Monitor patients during and after medical procedures and report any changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Active Veterinary Technician license or certification required. (LVT RVT or CVT)
- Open to newly credentialed technicians.
- 1 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interest in or openness to alternative medicine services.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
