Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: Correctional Facility in Chowchilla California
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (6 - 9 months with potential for extension)
Pay Range: $77.31 - $79.31 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health services in a correctional healthcare setting located in Chowchilla CA. This is a full-time contract opportunity with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent state position with full benefits depending on availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as clinician-of-the-day during scheduled workdays for patient emergencies
- Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and gather patient histories
- Identify behavioral health diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans
- Apply advanced clinical knowledge to plan and implement patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress
- Respond promptly to patient calls and manage referral follow-ups
- Collaborate with primary care providers psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure holistic care
- Provide high-quality mental health care across a diverse population
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 12 months of direct patient care within the last 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting
- Licensure: Active California LCSW license (hard copy required)
- BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Identification: Valid photo ID Drivers License or Passport
