ISS STOXX is growing! ISS STOXX seeks a Junior Analyst Data Collection and Research to join our Data Team in Mumbai India.

Overview:
Junior Data Analyst is a valuable member of the Rainmaker Data Team directly contributing to the company in the provision of data insights and market intelligence for the financial services industry in Australia. This position will provide the opportunity to become a Business Intelligence data specialist covering key Companies and People in the industry. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in data entry data collection data processing data accuracy internet research and insights into the financial services sector within Australia. Working within a longestablished Data Team where members are passionate about data financial services and researching. Each team member will have access to professional learning material professional software industry events and media titles to support their growth and expand their knowledge of the financial services industry in Australia. About Rainmaker Information: the company was founded in 1992 and is a leading provider of data insights research and media on the financial services industry in Australia. Rainmaker is part of Institutional Shareholder Services Market Intelligence (ISS MI) business unit.
Responsibilities:
Data collection for key segments of the Australian financial services industry.
Processing data for Companies and Contacts.
Researching and confirming business information and contact details.
Researching and confirming financial adviser licensing information.
Researching company websites LinkedIn and other sources for information.
Maintaining a database.
Assisting with processing event registrations data.
Assisting with processing subscriber and publication address and email data.
Communication of tasks progress successes and deadlines to the team.
Qualifications:
Passionate about Data and /or financial services.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
University qualified in a relevant field including but not limited to Finance Commerce Business Marketing or Economics.
Strong communication skills.
Strong Internet research skills.
Strong MS Office suite skills.
1 years experience with data and/or conducting research.
Well organised and proactive.
Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
Genuine interest in learning about the financial services industry.
