We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Consulting team at Mercer as a Senior Compensation Consultant. This role can be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior Compensation Consultant will support companies in the design and execution of performance measurement and reward strategies that reinforce business objectives working closely with a premier client base consisting of large complex Canadian and global organizations.
We will count on you to:
Structure direct review and interpret analyses performed by project teams.
Structure and/or review client deliverables.
Provide consulting services to Compensation Committees and/or senior management on a variety of remuneration issues including competitiveness of pay and benefits performance measurement and governance and regulatory implications.
Provide consulting services on broader Human Capital issues.
Generate revenue through development of new client relationships and build and maintain strong client relationships.
Provide leadership mentoring and guidance to team members.
What you need to have:
Bachelors degree required.
At least 8 years relevant work experience in compensation.
Excellent analytical writing and presentation skills.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Knowledge of HR business processes.
Strong finance and accounting skills.
Proven project management skills and creative problemsolving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
