Overview
Position Summary:
Performs the maintenance repair overhaul and setup of all the plant equipment.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Essential Functions:
- Examines and diagnoses plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines lyophilization and support equipment stoppering and closure machinery labeling packaging and finishing equipment conveying transferring and materials handling equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to include lubrication cleaning servicing inspecting and testing of equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures.
- Disassembles cleans lubricates repairs and reassembles equipment in need of overhaul or as part of a preventive maintenance
- Replaces or repairs frozen or worn bearings broken or worn parts leaking supply lines and/or systems gears shafts drive sprockets chains valves belts electrical or mechanical systems hydraulic drives and/or control systems
- Assist in validation of new equipment and revalidation of existing equipment as needed
- Records files maintains and makes readily available all records logs parts lists suppliers lists work records (both performed and to be performed) stock records manuals and/or all other required maintenance records and/or files relating to all plant operating equipment
- All other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- High School diploma or equivalent 7 years of experience in plant maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the ability to lift and move materials per current OSHA standards

The hourly wage range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $35 to $40. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education relevant experience skillset knowledge and specific needs of the business.
