You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSCHEDULING: Availability and flexibility required. Up to 20 hours per week not guaranteed. MUST have good availability weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. AND weekday evenings (excluding Friday) between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. AND good Saturday availability at least once or twice each month. Work is scheduled on an asneeded oncall basis. This position may require working at least two Sundays per month during the period that libraries are open on Sundays.
Overall Position Purpose: Parttime hourly clerical position working with the public in the circulation of library materials. Work involves responsibility for prompt and courteous attention to library customers in registering borrowers circulating library materials and explaining library policies and procedures regarding the use of the librarys facilities and services. Work is performed under the supervision of a member of the regular staff using established guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from high school or equivalency program preferably including or supplemented by computer training and work experience in a capacity involving frequent contact with the public; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that has provided the knowledge abilities and skills listed in the job description.
