DescriptionJob Summary: This position supports the Oncology Pharmacy Service Line in the oncology clinics around the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Health region. There is potential for additional responsibilities across the health system as assigned.
Essential functions required of the position are as follows:
- Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills interpersonal relationships and team building.
- Builds community and teamwork both inside and outside of the department to create and maintain a positive work environment.
- Maintains responsibility for quality of patient care utilization quantity and cost of resources.

In addition to the core responsibilities of a manager this individual will be responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives as assigned by the Program Director. Examples include medication safety initiatives operational improvements utilization support and other core business planning.
It will be imperative that this individual is a selfstarter who can independently assess a given situation and apply the principles of situational leadership when appropriate. Change management skills creative thinking and high emotional intelligence will be vital to this individuals success.

What You Will Need:
- Completion of a Pharmacy School with accreditation is mandatory along with either a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Active registration with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy required.
Nice To Have (Not Required):
- NC registered pharmacist with hospital experience.
- Advanced business degree and completion of a Residency program preferred.
- 2 4 years pharmacy management experience preferred.
