Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning organizing directing and managing the day to day operations for application production support processes systems projects and personnel for clinical applications.
- Analyzes and researches departmental budget(s) to locate errors and/or omissions balance account records and reconcile discrepancies.
- Supervises staff and manages employee performance.
- Provides ongoing performance feedback addresses problems orients and trains employees verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills.
- Monitors workflow.
- Attends educational inservices as appropriate.
- Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends practices and developments.
- Collects organizes and analyzes data and generates and provides accurate and complete reports for management and/or regulatory agencies.
- Interprets applicable regulations and establishes filing and auditing procedures to ensure records and files are accurate and in compliance. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred plus 4 years of experience in health care information technology including project management personnel management and application production support.
- Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
