At St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne our experienced team of clinical professionals care givers and support staff are equipped to provide the highest level of therapeutic medical and surgical services. We work together to ensure patient safety wellbeing and recovery. We are a notforprofit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy East Melbourne Kew and Werribee.

The Services available in our new private hospital include orthopaedic cardiology ear nose and throat plastic and reconstructive surgery urology gynaecology general surgery vascular rehabilitation and oncology/infusions. Facilities also include 3 operating theatres a day procedure unit oncology/infusion unit a cardiac catheter laboratory and a rehabilitation gymnasium.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

Reporting to the NUM GOR at St Vincents Private Hospital Werribee this exciting opportunity is now available for an Enrolled Nurse or Instrument Technician CSSD to join our team on a full time or part time basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing instruments and consumables for operating lists

  • Work with team members to ensure clear communication with key stake holders

  • Able to work autonomously to ensure the smooth running of the operating lists

  • Opportunity to 35 work hours/week Part Time.

It is essential that the successful applicant has the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • SelfDirection

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A basic understanding of operating room procedures and/or willing to learn.

  • Ability to show initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team.
