As a Legal Advisor youll be the first line of support for individuals facing legal challengesproviding clear empathetic and highimpact advice via a dedicated helpline. Responsibilities:
Provide daily telephonic legal advice to clients across various matters (labour civil and criminal law).
Draft written legal correspondence on behalf of clients when necessary.
Guide and support clients through legal procedures and options.
Maximise use of AI tools including My AI Lawyer to deliver accurate and efficient advice.
Collaborate with the Claims and Legal departments escalating only where necessary.
Ensure all client engagements align with the companys purpose and values.
Meet case response timeframes and maintain high service levels.
Participate in internal knowledgesharing and professional development.
Requirements:
MustHaves:
LLB / BComLLB / BALLB degree from a South African university.
Admitted Attorney of the High Court.
At least 1 year of postarticles experience.
Knowledge of Labour Civil and Criminal Law.
Experience or interest in legal tech and AI including tools like ChatGPT.
Strong communication and time management skills.
A passion for serving diverse communities with empathy.
NicetoHaves:
Exposure to subscriptionbased or helpline legal advisory environments.
Familiarity with customercentric legal services.
