Dean of Students for MilanElementary and Intermediate Schools
Grades K6
1. Provide leadership and monitor accountability for student behavior. Assist teachers with disciplinary policy. Be consistent in enforcing all policies in the student handbook including participation in disciplinary hearings as needed.
2. Lead attendance program establish supervise and maintain all attendance and tardy procedures and records make phone calls and plan parent meetings as needed.
3. Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with students teachers parents and community via phone email or school website or social media regarding student behavior attendance or general school announcements.
4. Serve as a member of the school leadership team.
