Job Duties
Supervises Social Work Department and ensures that the department provides high quality services while meeting all internal and external regulations; provides supervision to unitbased social work staff admissions staff and administrative support staff; works with other organizational leaders at CCCA to help integrate Social Work activities into overall service delivery; and interfaces with external agencies including Community Services Boards to support admissions and discharge planning understanding of CCCAs role within Virginias system of care and foster strong community relations.
Minimum Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Virginias system of mental health care for children and adolescents.
Skill in thoughtfully and supportively interacting with staff public parents guardians residents and staff at other agencies.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with other agency leaders at CCCA.
Ability to make independent decisions handle large volume of complex workload and effectively represent the facility.
Knowledge of principles of supervision and ability to effectively supervise a diverse staff.
Additional Considerations
Masters Degree in Social Work

Minimum of 5 years of social work counseling and/or therapy experience
Prior supervisory experience in a health care agency
Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker required.
