Job Description
LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER SPECIAL EDUCATION

We educate over 5600 students in 11 school buildings including Weymouth Early Childhood Center eight elementary schools (grades K5) Chapman Middle School (grades 68) and Weymouth High School (Grades 912). Our highly qualified educators and staff members work to provide personalized attention and support to ensure that every student thrives.
Qualifications:
- Licensed with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Moderate Disabilities PreK8 preferred
- SEI Endorsement preferred
- Must hold a bachelors degree or higher
General Duties:
Fills in for teacher while absent and in general performs all of the daily responsibilities and duties of that teacher
Specific Duties:
- Instructs classes following teachers lesson plans
- Performs regular daily duties assigned to the teacher
- Follows policies and procedures of the Weymouth Public Schools
Salary:
Rate 130 days: $131.00/day 3160 days: $157.50/day 61 days: TBD
