Position Overview:
Were seeking aField Service Technicianwho will be part of a fastpaced highgrowth traffic enforcement technology department/company. You will install wire connect calibrate analyze troubleshoot and maintain automated traffic enforcement systems field WAN networks and surveillance equipment. You will also document install upgrade or replace hardware and software systems as needed. You will be traveling independently to cities where you will work with subcontractors and engineering staff to install and maintain red light cameras and speed enforcement systems in the field.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Follow guides and perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance on company equipment
- Perform basic electrical work wiring and troubleshooting of electrical and data connectivity hookups for various mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Programming/configuring of redlight camera and speed enforcement systems
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair various redlight camera and speed enforcement system issues.
- Must be able to prioritize and comply with processes and quality checklists
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory assignments and report service data
- Must be able to organize manage and safeguard truck stock parts and tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic components 110volt power and connectivity wiring computer hardware and data/video cabling preferred but will train.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with highlevel city officials and being the face of the company
- Basic understanding of computer networking
- Ability to workindependently (safely and responsibly) as well as in a team and with subcontractors
- Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment.
Must be 21 years of age have a valid drivers license be able to drive and operate a bucket truck lift to 75 lbs. operate hand and power tools handle regular exposure to outdoor elements.
The projected hourly pay rate for this role is up to $28.85 USD plus benefits.
