Under the guidance of experienced Security Officer Supervisors youll receive comprehensive classroom and onthejob training to prepare you for the role. Youll play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and secure campus environment presenting a positive image of a concerned and capable security professional through your bearing demeanor and presence. This highly visible position involves patrolling the campus during evening and night hours ensuring the safety of our community. We are looking for dedicated individuals available to work Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. If youre ready to make a difference and grow in the field of security apply today!

Opportunities to Contribute
Patrols buildings and grounds on foot and by motor vehicle looking for suspicious activity unlocked doors fires and vandalism.
Acts as a deterrent to criminal activity through presence.
Makes decisions and applies discretion on security issues and criminal reporting more frequently during nonbusiness hours due to less managerial oversight.
Provides onsite security within specific buildings such as libraries athletic facilities and research laboratories.
Remains more alert for hazards and security threats due to conditions of darkness.
Provides information to visitors students and employees or directs such inquiries to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Required Qualifications
High School graduation or equivalent
Required Licenses and Certifications
Ability to obtain State of Texas class C vehicle operators license within 30 days of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain State of Texas class C vehicle operators license may result in termination
A wellqualified candidate will also possess
Customer service skills
Ability to work with reduced levels of managerial oversight
Ability to communicate effectively with all segments of the campus population
What You Need to Know
Salary: $19.06/hour.
Schedule/Location: Located in Round Rock Texas this position requires work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends and holidays with a typical schedule of Monday Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30pm.
