Who Were Looking For
We are currently looking to hire aVeterinary Assistantto join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable detailoriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used drawing blood and running bloodwork knowledge of xrays and proper positioning experience with proper animal handling and restraint understanding the importance of client education and being a positive and motivating team member.

A veterinary assistantassists veterinarians and veterinary technicians in various tasks including animal handling cleaning and maintenance and some administrative duties.While not as technically skilled as technicians they provide essential support in aveterinary clinicfocusing on direct animal care and some administrative tasks.
- Animal care:Feeding watering bathing and grooming animals;assisting with restraint and handling during procedures;and monitoring postoperative care.
- Cleaning and maintenance:Cleaning and disinfecting cages kennels and exam rooms;sterilizing instruments and equipment;and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Administrative tasks:Scheduling appointments answering phones greeting clients and managing paperwork.
- Direct patient care:Assisting with medication administration monitoring vital signs and preparing samples for laboratory examination.
- Client education:Explaining procedures medications and followup care to pet owners.
