The role
As a Homeless Prevention & Response worker at Petrus you will deliver direct prevention support alongside a wider service offer to meet the needs experienced due other areas of disadvantage for example physical and mental health issues poverty experience of the criminal justice system substance use and domestic abuse.
Petrus will provide tailored support to prevent eviction from various tenure types prevent the need for temporary accommodation open access to alternative accommodation improve home environment and lifestyle and increase tenancy security and management.
This role will require you to work alongside other Petrus teams as well as other partners and agencies who provide support for people in the borough. These services will include healthcare (sexual health podiatry optometry) alcohol and substance use domestic abuse and mental health support.
