Are you a passionate social worker whether experienced or just starting your journey eager to tackle dynamic and rewarding challenges Walsall MBC is looking for dedicated individuals to join our specialist social work teams supporting people with Learning Disabilities Mental Health conditions and younger adults.

  • Mental Health Team: Join a wellrespected service with strong healthcare partnerships. Here youll have exciting opportunities to develop your skills in strengthbased recoveryfocused interventions including forensic social work and supporting individuals under the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Learning Disability Team: Become a named worker and build meaningful longterm relationships with people of all ages who have a learning disability. This team offers a fantastic environment for collaborative multiagency working.
  • Younger Adults Team: Be part of shaping a newly formed team dedicated to ensuring positive transitions into adult services for young people including those with EHCPs in education. This is a unique chance to make a real impact in a rewarding and developing area of social work.

Our Vacancies

We are currently looking for experienced Social Workers to join our teams across Adult Social Care where you will work closely with people social care and health colleagues and others to coproduce strengths based care and support plans to support people to live the life they want. Roles are available in the Adults Mental Health Team Young Adult Team and Learning Disabilities Team.
