Job Title: Digital Learning Coordinator Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

Primary Purpose: To continuously evaluate student learning districtwide determine areas of support needed by classroom teachers and district staff and guide development of these supports by the Digital Learning department.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelors Degree Masters Degree preferred.
- Valid Texas Teaching certification

- Ability to speak publicly and present professional learning to any number of district staff.
- Experience identifying needs of a team based on collected student performance data and observations from the classroom and determining supports to provide.
- Knowledge of largescale program management.
- Effective organizational skills and strong time management abilities.
- High level understanding of digital learning pedagogy and digital learning integration strategies.
- Willingness to implement new learning and take risks to grow.
Experience:
- Classroom teaching experience (at least 5 years).
- Successful experience in the design and delivery of professional learning.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and lead the varied support provided to the district by the Digital Learning Specialist team.
- Interact with the other departments in the Technology division on a regular basis to support instructional needs of schools teachers and students.
- Communicate coordinate and collaborate with Curriculum & Instruction and other district departments in the implementation of new learning initiatives.
- Frequently visit classrooms to be actively able to assess implementation progress and identify support needed for improvement.
- Communicate and collaborate with campus leadership to identify learning needs of students and supports digital integration can provide.
- Design and deliver engaging professional learning to support digital learning integration.
- Lead the development and align the activity of library media specialists on campuses to include professional development.
- Manage and coordinate new digital learning initiatives.
- Work alongside digital learning specialists in the development of professional learning.
- Coordinate with curriculum and instruction coordinators to develop and improve instructional practices utilizing district learning management system.
