Location: London
Contract: Fulltime Longterm
Salary: Competitive Based on experience

Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people

Whether youre a graduate exploring a career in teaching or an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity this Cover Supervisor role could be the perfect next step.


What You ll Be Doing:

  • Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in a vibrant secondary school environment

  • Deliver preprepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused

  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies promoting respect and a calm learning atmosphere

  • Support students with their learning encouraging participation and resilience

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour during cover lessons

  • Step up when needed from mentoring small groups to supporting with intervention and enrichment sessions



Requirements

Who We re Looking For:

  • Graduates in Education Psychology English Maths Science Humanities or related fields

  • Confident communicators with the presence to lead a classroom teaching experience not required!

  • Flexible reliable and calm under pressure

  • Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their education

  • Experience in a school youth work tutoring or coaching environment is a bonus (but not essential)

  • Willing to learn full training and ongoing CPD provided

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) applications from ECTs welcome! Solid understanding of child development and experience supporting learners with complex needs Confident working with Multi-Sensory Impairments (MSI), autism, medical needs, and behaviours of concern

Education

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, Safeguarding and Child Protection Training, Team Teach or MAPA training, Level 2/3 Certificate in Understanding Autism, Challenging Behaviour, or SEND, Mental Health or Wellbeing Training
