Deliver preprepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused
Manage behaviour in line with school policies promoting respect and a calm learning atmosphere

Step up when needed from mentoring small groups to supporting with intervention and enrichment sessions
Graduates in Education Psychology English Maths Science Humanities or related fields
Confident communicators with the presence to lead a classroom teaching experience not required!

Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their education
Experience in a school youth work tutoring or coaching environment is a bonus (but not essential)
Willing to learn full training and ongoing CPD provided

Education
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, Safeguarding and Child Protection Training, Team Teach or MAPA training, Level 2/3 Certificate in Understanding Autism, Challenging Behaviour, or SEND, Mental Health or Wellbeing Training
