Were looking for a passionate and experienced Student Support Adviser to join our Student Wellbeing and Care team with a dedicated focus on supporting rainbow takatpui and MVPFAFF students at Waipapa Taumata Rau.
This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our rainbow students by helping them navigate challenges celebrate their identities and thrive at university. Youll work directly with students and rainbow communities to provide oneonone support develop support plans connect them with services and help them build a strong sense of belonging and visibility on campus.

This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week) 12month fixed term position based at our city campus.
Remuneration: $62400 $77800 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

The Student Wellbeing and Care team sits within Campus Life and is dedicated to removing personal barriers to success and supporting students to get the most out of their university experience. This Rainbowspecific Adviser position is a key part of our commitment to equity and manaakitanga ensuring students of diverse sexualities gender identities and sex characteristics are seen valued and supported.
Youll be working alongside a team of committed professionals including other specialist advisers and support services in an environment that embraces inclusivity collaboration and Te Tiritiled practice.

Youll bring lived and/or professional experience within rainbow communities and an understanding of the diverse realities challenges and strengths that rainbow students bring with them to university.
