About Us: Shambaugh & Son L.P. a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc. is a construction/engineering firm. We specialize in the Design/Build method of construction resulting in fasttrack delivery of the project improvements to our clients. We are one of the largest specialty contractors in the U.S. and the only one with all eight M.E.P (Mechanical Electrical Process Automation Refrigeration HVAC Plumbing and Fire Protection) design and installation capabilities inhouse. Job Title: Fire Sprinkler / Fire Alarm Inspector
Job Summary: Shambaugh & Son L.P is seeking a Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Inspector who will be responsible for working with the Inspection team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform NFPA 25/72 Fire Sprinkler Inspections
- Bar Code all equipment and input data electronically
- Detail Inspection Deficiencies for office
- Take alarm systems offline for inspections
- Assist the service/inspection office manager
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Understanding of NFPA 25 Requirements
- Utilize Inspections Software to Perform Inspections
- Have General Understanding of Function of Fire Sprinkler Systems
- NICET certification preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility with schedule changes or a daily basis
- Good communications skills to communicate with customers on site
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
