Senior Technical Architect / Architectural Technologist / Façade Specialist

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Technical Architect Architectural Technologist or Faade Specialist to join our vibrant Architecture Studio in London

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for delivering excellence in design and construction specifically within the health aviation and/or sports entertainment arena.

As part of our growing multidisciplinary team you will take a lead role in developing and delivering complex architectural packages coordinating across disciplines and ensuring the highest standards of technical quality on site.

This is a handson sleeves up role where you can push boundaries and be BOLD!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technical packages at RIBA Stages 4 and 5
• Provide expertlevel Revit modelling and technical detailing in both 2D and 3D
• Develop and coordinate architecture specifications in compliance with British Standards
• Manage constructability and technical resolution on live construction projects
• Collaborate directly with contractors subcontractors and specialist consultants to ensure practical and robust design solutions
• Coordinate work packages across disciplines managing quality and design intent through to completion
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledgesharing across the studio

About You

• A considerable level of relevant industry experience 
• Registered Architect Architectural Technologist Faade Architect or Faade Engineer
• Proven ability to lead projects from technical design through to delivery
• Deep understanding of BS standards building regulations and detailing best practices
• Strong leadership coordination and communication skills
• A proactive mindset and high level of energy with a solutionoriented approach

Qualifications :

• Expert level in Revit
• Expert level in technical detailing (2D and 3D)
• Solid RIBA Stage 4 /5 experience
