The Payroll Officer is responsible for the payroll process which includes but is not limited to prepayroll tasks reporting and checks facilitating payroll signoff processes for corporate restaurants and Hola Central team and Franchisees employee change processes postpayroll and monthend tasks and general reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Operations:
- Process fortnightly and offcycle payroll runs including terminations and adjustments
- Ensure accurate onboarding and offboarding of employees in payroll systems
- Respond to and resolve payroll queries within 24 hours
- Validate and reconcile pay files and timesheets
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal procedures
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare payroll and superannuation reports for franchisees and corporate entities
- Manage STP submissions to the ATO and run monthend reporting
- Complete and track workers compensation paperwork claims and reimbursements
- Support internal and external payroll data requests audits and reporting needs
Systems & Support:
- Manage the payroll inbox and maintain filing systems
- Liaise with internal teams and franchisees to provide payrollrelated guidance
- Create and maintain payroll processing documentation and guides
- Monitor and support compliance with Awards and system rules via T&A integration

- Adhering to Company policies procedures and directives regarding standards of workplace behaviour in completing job duties and assignments and quantity and quality of work performed and ensuring that all their team do the same
Key Requirements:
- 3 years of payroll experience in a multisite business using time & attendance systems
- Experience with outsourced payroll models
- Strong Excel skills (formulas pivot tables) reporting and data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in payroll systems including Preceda Dimensions Tanda and Ichris
- Ability to interpret award conditions and support operational leaders with training
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Maintain clear consistent and professional communication with key stakeholders
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and accountability in meeting deadlines
- Collaborate effectively as a proactive and reliable team player
- Approach tasks and queries in an organised methodical and detailfocused manner
