Tea Fort is the global luxury tea brand identified around the world as the ultimate tea experience. To support its high growth it is hiring a remote Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow distribution of our tea products in retail with a focus on high end/luxury retailers
  • Flexibility to work with our International and national hotel and restaurants chains (25 locations) for tea
  • Lead crossfunctional strategy development and programs to appeal to the luxury consumer & retailer
  • Expand new distributors (broadliner and/or specialty/luxury)
  • Develop beverage programs with National Accounts independents & Luxury retailers
  • Manage detailed and accurate sales forecasting planning and budget
  • Develop new streams of revenue within the channel through innovative approaches and solutions
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support channel and partner programs.
  • Develop and execute Annual Operating Plans aligned with Company strategic growth objectives via the Key Account Planning cycle for assigned territory
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and protect the longterm presence of the brand within the channel
  • Evaluate product marketability in terms of customer needs
  • Understand account P&L and work with broader team on enhancement of P&L
  • Ensure cohesive brand DNA and sustainable growth path with a strong focus on profitability and ROI

Qualifications :

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of sales and sales management experience in a businesstobusiness sales environment
  • Strong experience and key buying contacts in the Luxury retail and/or hospitality industry
  • Strong financial acumen including ability to develop P&L
  • Demonstrated experience calling on Food & Beverage buyers in any category (cold/hot beverages gourmet food).

Skills and Experience:

  • This position is ideal for a resultsdriven strategic seller that has a robust network of luxury/retail and/or National hotel and restaurant accounts
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to build and scale a business
  • Experience with industry tradeshows (i.e. National Restaurant Association show Fancy Food etc.)
  • A team player with dynamic and outgoing personality
  • Proven experience creating a multiyear sales plan and working with management on annual sales budget
  • Excellent communication skills; understands audience and adjusts communication to drive desired results
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite with demonstrated mastery of using PowerPoint to create effective sales presentations and advanced Excel (Vlookup Pivot tables etc.)
  • Strong analytical and tactical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive driven and selfmotivated
  • Advocate of Tea Forte
  • Selfstarter and fiscally responsible as well as resourceful
  • Ability to prioritize and lead through change
  • Travel (2540% Nationally)
