Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Mechanical development of new products (Sensors) and defining the specifications and technical documentation of those products;
Responsible for complete product life cycle: Customer iteration requirements evaluation product development engineering change requests bill of materials customer change requests;
Creation of 3D design solutions using CAD modelling tools and creation of 2D drawings by using existing specifications inside project as well as creation of specifications for suppliers and production;
Simultaneous engineering with all the parties involved in the development of new products (project lead production process engineering suppliers sample shop...);
Participation and technical lead during supplier selection and sourcing process for parts;
Followup of supplier processes such as tool creation to reach maturity before release for mass production;
Interface to other development sites and communication to Project Manager;
Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of concept problems and implement corrective measures;
Participation in problem solving teams including participants from other departments such as Purchase Quality Suppliers;
Analyze costs and benchmarking of stateoftheart technology.


Qualifications :

What distinguishes you:

Mechanical/Polymer Engineer with experience in Automotive Development;
Independent working attitude ability to work inside teams from engineering production quality suppliers (national and international);
Good Experience in simulation tools with finite element (FEM) for structural analysis;
Analytic mindset willing to perform independently detailed technical investigations both practical and theoretical;
Knowledge in Design and Production of injections molded Plastic / Metal parts and Sheet Metal Parts;
Excellent knowledge in Part Dimensioning and GDT;
Excellent knowledge in CAD (NX or CREO) in 2D and 3D modules;
Knowledge in Quality and Problem Solving Methods;
Excellent communication skills towards management suppliers and customers;
Secure in technical documentations and presentations;
Good English language skills;
Experience in creating and presenting technical documentations.
