Job Description
Your Tasks
As a Simulation Engineering Intern you will work as part of an international R&D team to support the development and optimization of Emotor designs through advanced modeling and simulation. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and applying simulation techniques using commercial tools (e.g. COMSOL Abaqus) and MATLAB.
Analyzing the impact of geometric features on key Emotor performance metrics such as efficiency durability and NVH (noise vibration harshness).
Creating validating and refining physicsbased models to simulate multidomain behavior.
Designing and improving simulation workflows and calculation methods to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Generating technical insights and simulation data to support product design decisions and performance optimization.
Qualifications :
What You Bring:
- You are currently pursuing a Masters degree in Engineering Physics or similar direction;
- You are proficient in English verbal and written;
- You are available for the minimum internship period of 6 months preferably longer;
- You can work at our office in Tilburg;
- You are based in the Netherlands preferably near Tilburg.
What distinguishes you:
- Knowledge of Comsol Abacus Matlab;
- Strong interest in multiphysics simulation;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong motivation;
- Creative mind and a good organizer;
- Team player and able to work independently;
- Proactive and not afraid to take charge;
- Open attitude suitable for an internationally oriented environment;
