Sutherland is seeking a QA Engineer to work for NICE Actimize to ensure that its machine learningbased fraud applications are released to the market on time and with a high standard of quality.
In this position you will have a key role in designing developing and testing an integrated SQA process. Working through backend serverside applications (Java Python Message Bus) on Linux to the persistent storage (MySQL) your mission will be to define and execute an overall SQA methodology that results in a high level of satisfaction for our realtime and nonrealtime customers.

Job Description
The QA Engineer performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following:
- Coordinate sprint stories with team resources to ensure QA commitments are achievable.
- Review stories in detail to participate in grooming sprint planning and assess testing efforts
- Define and develop test plans and test cases for new features and integration testing
- Perform handson manual test execution
- Automate test cases for functional regression testing
- Monitor daily regression builds to ensure quality of code is consistently maintained
- Contribute to product design to ensure testability and robustness of products and features
- Participate in Agile projects to deliver quality products to serve our customers interest and build valuable Premier Xceed solutions
- Work closely with PM and Develops to deliver high quality releases for production.
Qualifications :
- BS/MS in CS or equivalent with at least 3 years of software quality assurance experience testing and releasing mission critical enterprise cloud platform applications.
- Strong experience in testing realtime data processing server log analysis and software integrations.
- Strong experience in API testing
- Strong experience working in Linux/Unix environments with handson experience managing and configuring your own test environments.
- Strong experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle with extensive SQL scripting experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD tools Puppet/Salt a plus.
- Experience in software version control (svn maven git Bitbucket) branching and software release process.
- Solid skills in test case writing data creation data analytics and investigation for the root cause of issues
- Resourceful flexible able to work independently and cohesively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
