DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Food Service Instructor you will function as a lead worker and provide instruction to inmates through onthejob vocational training. You will instruct inmates in food preparation production service and baking. In this role you will ensure proper control over inmates by enforcing custody and security regulations and inspecting all food service areas equipment and food for conformance with established safety and sanitation standards. In addition you will ensure that meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.

- Fulltime employment 40 hours per week
- Work hours to be determined 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM with rotating days off.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $46986.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in food preparation production or service of a variety of complete meal menus in an institutional food service operation food catering service restaurant or in a similar largescale food production operation; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
