About the TV OS Development Team:
Our TV OS Development Team is dedicated to creating seamless and powerful software that enhances the user experience across Walmarts smart TV products. By collaborating closely with hardware teams and leveraging advanced technologies we aim to deliver exceptional performance and reliability that align with Walmarts goals of innovation and customer satisfaction.
What Youll Do:
Architect supervise and develop the TV OS software.
Develop and port OS features for smart TV including Bluetooth audio and peripherals.
Work on the abstraction layer that interfaces between TV hardware and TV applications.
Lead hardware automation testing and sustenance engineering of existing Linuxbased OS.
Implement improvements bug fixes and new features to ensure high performance and user satisfaction.
What Youll Bring:
10 years of experience with C/C Linux/Unix and Bluetooth stack.
BS or MS in Computer Science.
Expertise in C C 17/20 Clang toolchain cmake Python and C patterns and best practices.
Proficiency in Linux systemlevel programming including multithreading interprocess communication and advanced debugging.
Experience with Audio codecs (SBC LC3) ALSA and PipeWire.
Good to have: AOSP driver development realtime media pipeline experience.
