Job Summary:

Maryville School District is the fiscal agent for the Marysville Together Coalition a state designated Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) site which must abide by the Division of Behavioral Health and Recoverys Community Coalition Task Guide including the following:

The Marysville Together Community Coalition Coordinators role is to provide staff support to Marysvilles CPWI Coalition. As staff the Coordinator manages the processes of strategic planning and implementation of coalition strategies and activities. The Coalition Coordinator and other coalition staff are not members of the coalition and should not serve as elected officers. The Coalition Coordinator assists with support for planning problem solving and information management (evaluation deadlines reporting etc.). The job of the Coalition Coordinator is to understand the framework process and contract requirements of the CPWI; keep track of the overall process to guide the coalition through those contract requirements and ensure the coalition is moving forward; keep records of the work and decisions of the coalition; ensure timely reporting of coalition strategies and activities into a State management information system is completed; and distribute meeting information prior to meetings (agendas decisions to be made and minutes).

The Coalition Coordinator works with the coalition to help organize and maintain coalition compliance with the CPWI provide assistance to the community coalition and to help guide the continuous development and implementation of a community substance abuse prevention strategic plan by July of starting year and ongoing for the duration of the project.

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This is an office/field job. The employee will be assigned a specific work area to complete the requirements specific to the Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative contract. The employee is required to work the diverse Marysville Community population. The noise level in the work environment is acceptable to this particular environment and can vary depending upon daily activity but will remain within acceptable ranges.

Evaluation:

The Coalition Coordinator shall be evaluated periodically by the Athletic Director pursuant to the currently established district procedures and evaluation criteria. The process shall include an evaluation of the performance of the above essential job functions.
