Job Description

Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Assistant Vice President for Marketing & Digital Strategy the Assistant Director of Marketing will plan develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans for University initiatives encompassing print advertising web and digital platforms. This role will collaborate with marketing team members and leadership to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all mediums. The Assistant Director of Marketing will be able to plan and manage marketing and communications projects by utilizing a project management software system and collaborate with division partners to produce campaigns and projects on time and within budget. Excellence in managing multifaceted campaigns and project management skills is essential. Crossfunctional collaboration both within the division and with key units across the university is critical.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field. 35 years successful experience in marketing. Possesses strong visual verbal and written communications skills excellent problem solving skills and works effectively with a wide variety of University staff including direct client interface on projects. Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects establish priorities meet deadlines and ensure quality and accuracy of work. High comfort level in using project management systems to optimize workflow and business processes. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Adobe Acrobat Pro Project Management and Cloud Collaboration to work independently juggle multiple projects meet deadlines and ensure quality and accuracy of work. Possess a positive attitude a collaborative spirit and a forwardthinking mindset Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of marketing best practices in higher education related to enrollment advancement and institutional branding. Previous experience working in a higher education environment. Ability to update build and maintain web content in the WordPress CMS . Ability to build HTML emails within email marketing platforms.
