Job Description
Job Title: Street Maintenance Worker
Location: Gainesville TX
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Type: FullTime TemptoHire
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring for a Street Maintenance Worker to assist the city with road repair and maintenance. This is a handson physically active position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and making a visible impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform street repair and maintenance tasks including patching potholes cleaning debris and other roadway upkeep
Operate basic equipment and tools used for street work
Follow safety procedures and city guidelines during all assignments
Assist with traffic control and signage setup as needed
Complete assigned work orders and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Must have a valid drivers license
Must have a clear background check
Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
Reliable transportation to and from work
Previous experience in construction maintenance or a similar field is a plus
