We are seeking a highly motivated Independent Sales Representative to focus exclusively on generating sales within these government sectors securing contracts and building relationships with procurement professionals.
Position Overview
This is a 1099 commissiononly role ideal for an experienced sales professional with expertise in federal and state government procurement. The representative will identify opportunities engage with key decisionmakers and facilitate product sales to government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with decisionmakers in federal and state government agencies.
- Build and maintain relationships with government procurement officers and buyers.
- Promote and sell a diverse range of products suited for government contracts.
- Respond to RFQs RFPs and other procurement requests from government agencies.
- Stay informed on government procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Manage and track sales opportunities within the federal and state government space.
Requirements
- Proven experience in federal and/or state government sales or procurement.
- Strong understanding of government purchasing processes contracts and compliance.
- Excellent networking and communication skills with a resultsdriven approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage sales remotely.
- Familiarity with government purchasing platforms and contract bidding is a plus.
