As a Bank Teller youll be the face of the bank playing a key role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of daily banking transactions including deposits withdrawals fund transfers loan payments cash advances and check cashing
- Issue cashiers checks and handle stop payments and wire transfer requests
- Offer relevant banking services and products that meet customers needs
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and ensure the safety of customer information
- Operate basic banking technologies such as computers 10key calculators copy/fax machines and telephones
- Balance cash drawer daily with accuracy and attention to detail
- Open and close new accounts and perform maintenance on existing accounts assisting customers with a wide range of banking services
What Youll Bring:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong math skills including the ability to add subtract multiply divide and work with fractions and percentages
- Comfort with technology including proficiency in typing and computer operation
- Exceptional attention to detail strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to follow procedures with accuracy
- Regular and reliable attendance
- A positive attitude excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for up to four hours at a time
- Capability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements
- Ability to kneel reach bend push pull lift and carry coin bags weighing up to 30 pounds
- Clear speaking hearing and vision for effective communication with customers
