Job Description
Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta serving the educational needs of approximately 17950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting a fulltime French Immersion Division 2 Teacher at cole Parc lmentaire.
cole Parc lmentaireserves approximately 350 students in kindergarten to Grade 6 with 17 teaching staff and 16 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan AB approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park AB.
cole Parc lmentaire offers singletrack French immersion school is a diverse French immersion learning community that inspires a love of learning encourages student individuality and promotes global citizenship in a safe caring and enriched environment. The school values the importance of strong learning partnerships among students teachers parents and the community while wanting each student to be successful to their greatest Parc lmentaireis also a designated Play And Learn at School (PALS) prekindergarten site within the Division.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe supported and challenged
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
- Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
