The Company
Our client is a privately owned Brisbane based construction and development company. They have a diverse project portfolio consisting of multi residential (both medium rise and townhouses) commercial and industrial up to $100m in project value. They operate as a developer builder and traditional principal building contractor.
The Role
Contracts have recently been signed on a 30town home development at Southport and there is an opportunity for a new Site Manager to join the business on a permanent basis.
As the Site Manager you will be responsible for all program quality and safety targets on site. You will lead a team of subcontractors ensuring all time milestones are hit. You will be client facing as required and will have the support of an established Project Manager Contract Administrator and Site Supervisor.
About you
The ideal candidate will have delivered multiple town home projects of a similar size. You will be a carpenter by trade and ideally hold a QBCC Site Supervisors License.
You will be a natural leader excellent communicator and have a keen eye for detail. Your experience will create smarts around sequencing and the ability to be able to identify and capitalise on opportunities to accelerate program when they arise.
You will have extensive experience in the local market and strong subcontractor relationships.
You will demonstrate strong tenure and have relevant references to support the quality of your work.
Remuneration and Benefits.
There is a salary package of up to $200k depending on your experience.
