Job Description
Summary:
Skidmore Colleges Athletics and Recreation Department invites applicants for a fulltime regular (10 month) M/W Swimming Assistant Coach Position beginning September 2025. Responsibilities will include assisting the Head M/W Swimming & Diving Coach in planning organizing and implementing aspects of a Division III mens and womens swimming program including practice and meet preparation ondeck coaching team travel recruitment of prospective studentathletes fund raising and other duties as assigned. The position will also include serving as a physical activities course instructor and equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years collegiate swimming coaching and/or competitive experience. Candidates should posses strong organizational skills communication and basic computer skills. Current CPR and AED Certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Lifeguard Certification or willingness to obtain. WSI Certification or willingness to obtain.
