South Valley Academy a successful public charter school located in Albuquerques South Valley is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Development (ELD)/Reading Intervention Teacher to join our high school faculty. Our school primarily serves firstgeneration collegebound students from lowincome backgrounds and we are committed to providing an equitable and rigorous education for all learners.
In this fulltime role the ELD/Reading Intervention Teacher will support the language development and academic growth of emerging bilingual students who are also striving readers. The teacher will provide targeted instruction to help students build English proficiency while developing critical reading skills ensuring their full access to the academic curriculum and broader school community.
A TESOL endorsement is required. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
