This position is based in Orlando Florida.

The Marriott Orlando Downtown Hotel in Orlando FL is searching for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.Located in the Creative Village in downtown Orlando the hotel has 297 guest rooms with views of the downtown Orlando Skyline. This great fullservice Marriott Hotel has 15 meeting rooms with 15992 sq. ft of space an onsite Starbucks Shade Bar and Grill Fitness Center and Outdoor Pool.

Job Purpose: Our Food and Beverage Supervisor assists the Food and Beverage Manager in making sure that operations in the Restaurant Bar Fresh BitesMClub and Starbucks are all running smoothly and our guests are enjoying their experience. The Food and Beverage Supervisors quest is to create a motivational work environment for our talented associates so they create memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the operations of the Restaurant Bars Fresh Bites Starbucks and MClub to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure.
  • Barista experience Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as expresso caffe latte and cappuccino when needed
  • Be a handson supervisor and a resource to your associates by understanding associates positions well enough to perform duties in associates absence.
  • Proactively meet guests during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage service levels and overall experience.
  • Respond to all guests requests problems and concerns in an attentive courteous and efficient manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Works in partnership with the Restaurant and Assistant Restaurant Managers to post and communicate all guest satisfaction results including all guest satisfaction forms comment cards and guest letters.
  • Create an environment thats engaging where motivated people want to join learn do their best and advance.
  • Display a positive hands on leadership style to attract retain and motivate the associates; schedule train develop empower coach and counsel resolve problems provide open communications and recommend discipline as appropriate.
  • Ensure that associates are checked out appropriately and side work has been completed.
  • Ensures recognition is taking place across areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure successful processes and training are instituted for every aspect of the guests dining experience: greeting from hostess speed of order taking and food and beverage delivery fulfillment of special requests collection of payment & invitation to return.
  • Understands the impact of F&B Operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives.
  • Follow procedures for processing payroll correctly to ensure correct payment of associate paychecks.
  • Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies standards and procedures by training supervising followup and hands on management.
  • Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Ensures staff understands and complies with local state and Federal liquor laws.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
