ROLE SUMMARY
The Medical Director will provide leadership and expertise in Rare Cardiac/Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTRCM) to execute upon US medical strategies and tactics. He/she will be an integral member of the US medical affairs and crossfunctional US Vyndaqel/Vyndamax team(s). The medical director will support key internal and external medical initiatives such as identifying and closing heart failure/ATTRCM knowledge gaps evaluation of insights across multiple channels and maintaining thought leader relationships in the field of heart failure/ATTRCM.
Utilizing insights and data generation needs develop and execute on aligned US RWE plan. The plan will address the evolving medical unmet need in todays ATTRCM population support quality initiatives with organized customers (health systems) and/or 3rd party organizations where applicable. He/she will provide therapeutic area/product expertise in ATTRCM for Vyndaqel/Vyndamax and understand patients and physicians point of view. Works closely with Global Medical Affairs and crossfunctional colleagues to deliver on the US Medical plan.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivering US medical strategies and tactics in support of Rare Cardiac/Vyndaqel/Vyndamax
Developing overall RealWorld Evidence Strategy based on evolving treatment landscape for ATTRCM
US publication lead delivering on US publication plan and strategy development of US plan within the broader Global publication and dissemination plans.
Executing initiatives aligned with US organized customers inclusive of Health System and large national Health Plans (where applicable)
Evaluating insights from multiple segments of the health system to support development of national and regional initiatives to address ATTRCM clinical care gap
Collaborate with crossfunctional colleagues from commercial field medical HEOR digital US medical information and relevant internal colleagues to enhance and deliver upon US medical plan(s)
When applicable within RC partner with legal regulatory and marketing colleagues to ensure compliant accurate and highquality content of promotional and nonpromotional materials
Serves as a reliable and trusted source of accurate scientific knowledge of the data disease state product label and competitive data for clinical trials
Strong familiarity with the customer insights process and the importance of customer insights helping in planning and execution of Advisory Boards (when needed) to gather expert advice on medical planning
Familiarity with medical SOPs/CT24/KIMS platform
Supports therapeutic area and product training needs: work with medical and marketing to deliver just in time training for new crossfunctional colleagues. In addition to new medical content (when/where applicable).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
PharmD/PHD with 5 years of experience; Medical Affairs experience preferred
Knowledge and experience in Heart Failure/ATTRCM is preferred
Strong working knowledge of US health system health plans and quality measures
Strong familiarity with Publication planning process and applicable SOPs
Overall working knowledge of policy market access US health care system and healthcare economics and its impact on medical decision making
Understanding of quality measures which inform healthcare decision making in the healthcare system and/or managed care setting is a plus
Strong analytical skills
Customeroriented approach and ability to work in crossfunctional and matrix teams
Proven strategic thinking skills and ability to interpret and implement strategic directions
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deal effectively with deadlines
Creativity resourcefulness high energy and flexibility
Professional demeanor & excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with external customers /internal colleagues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition to strong presentation skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169700.00 to $282900.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
