The Work:

Administer and maintain Linux servers and systems in a SOC environment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cyber security tools including Splunk threat detection and monitoring systems.
Ensure the security availability and performance of Linux systems and applications.
Collaborate with SOC analysts and other IT staff to identify and resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular system updates patches and configuration changes to maintain security compliance.
Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning as necessary.
Participate in oncall rotation and respond to system and security incidents as needed.
Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.

Here is what you need:

8 years of Cyber and/or IT experience
Linux systems engineering experience
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) for automation and system management.
Active Top Secret required with ability to obtain SCI
For candidates relocating to Huntsville a relocation bonus may be available

Bonus points if you have:

Experience performing system or network administration
Experience with the following tools:CSAM XACTA eMASScrecrea
You have one or more of the following certifications:

Linux
Red Hat certifications such as RHCA RHCSA RHCE etc.
CompTIA Security
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree required

As required by local law Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York Washington and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits.You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an ongoing basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

The pay range for the states of California Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York Washington and the District of Columbia is:

$93400 $176200 USD
